2 foundations for financial relationships with international clients

As leader of the International Banking Group at Bank of the West, I have a great opportunity to help expatriates, international clients, and business owners as they move to new locations or expand their business activities in other countries.
As new U.S. residents begin careers, continue their education, or even start businesses, they may find it challenging to select a bank that can help with their unique financial needs – whether it’s building a U.S. credit score, transferring funds from a non-U.S. account, getting a mortgage, or more.
Recently my team made a series of short videos that review some of the concerns and considerations that expatriates or new residents may want to consider as they review banking options. I think the video below – focusing on key themes of culture and trust — is a great place to start as you consider whether a potential banking partner demonstrates the necessary cultural awareness of unique needs of international clients.
In this video you’ll learn about three questions to ask that may help direct you in evaluating your banking options.
